The Commitment

Love requires a commitment to meet the challenge of dealing with another human being.

My mother came back to Vancouver with a ring for me. She helped me try it on and put it on the ring finger of my working hand.

If you decide not to have anyone, you still have you.

If this life is going to be a life of commitments, I better deal with myself first. Give me a reason to care, to excel, to prosper; what’s a better reason than doing those for myself.
